What does it cost?
KES 100 per edit. Three changes on two pictures is six edits, so KES 600. Your first order gets one edit free.
How long does it take?
Same day, usually much faster. A person looks at what you sent, the picture goes through the AI, and the result is checked before anything leaves us. If something does hold us up, we tell you.
Can you photograph me?
No. imarafilm.ai is not a photography studio: we work on pictures you already have, with artificial intelligence rather than a camera. If you want somebody behind a camera, IMARA Film does that, the studio this service belongs to. You can book a session at imara.film.
How do I pay?
M-Pesa, Send Money to 0111 315 598. You pay after you have seen the pictures, and the full-size files come straight after. Orders of 20 edits or more start with half up front.
What do I get before I pay?
You see the finished picture on WhatsApp as a view-once message: it opens once, and it cannot be saved or forwarded. Nothing is covering it, no logo across your face — you can judge the result properly. Once you have paid, the file you keep follows right away. If we got it wrong, we redo it and you don't pay for the round that failed. If you want something different from what you asked for, that is a new edit.
Will mine look like the example?
The quality will, the details will not. Every picture on this page is a real result, not a mock-up, and yours is worked to the same standard. What is drawn fresh every time is the background and the clothing, so the room behind you and the fall of a jacket will be your own rather than the ones on screen. The look you chose carries over. We keep going until it sits, and the failed rounds are ours.
Can you make a photo for my CV?
Yes. Send one good picture of yourself and pick CV or profile photo, then tell us the look you need: office, LinkedIn, doctor, nurse, lawyer, graduation. KES 100 each, the same as any other picture. Send a few pictures and pick a few looks if you want something to choose from. This is not a passport photo. Official documents have their own rules and we do not make those.
What happens to my pictures?
They are edited to the IMARA look, the same grade we use in our own productions, and sent back to you on WhatsApp. The pictures you uploaded are deleted from our server 30 days later. What we sent you stays in your WhatsApp until you delete it, and we keep a record of the order itself for our books. We never publish anyone's pictures without asking first, and if you want yours gone sooner, say so and they go. The terms say it in full.
