How this works, what you get, and what we both agree to. Written plainly rather than in legal language, and binding all the same.
What this is
imarafilm.ai edits pictures you already have. We do not photograph anyone and we do not run sessions. If you want somebody behind a camera, that is IMARA Film at imara.film.
Every picture is worked on with AI tools. That is the whole service, not a detail of it. What comes back has been altered.
Price and payment
KES 100 per edit. Three changes on two pictures is six edits, so KES 600. Whatever you pick applies to every picture in that order, so a picture needing something different goes as its own order.
Some edits count as more than one, because they are more than one job at the tool. Bigger for print counts as two. Product in any background counts as three, since the background and the item are built separately. The count is shown before you order.
Just better has no fixed price and cannot be combined with the other edits. You describe what should change, we tell you how many edits that is, and no work starts before you have agreed to the number.
Your first order gets one edit free, once per WhatsApp number.
Payment is by M-Pesa after you have seen the result. Orders of 20 edits or more start with half up front, and the balance is due before the full-size files go out.
No files are released before payment is received.
What you send us
You confirm that the pictures are yours, or that you are allowed to have them altered. This matters: sending us somebody else's photograph does not give either of us the right to change it.
Where other people appear in a picture, their consent is your responsibility, not ours.
We do not remove other people's watermarks, signatures or credits.
We do not work on identity documents, certificates, licences, official records or anything of that kind, and we do not make passport or ID photographs. Those have their own rules on what may be altered, and an edited one can be refused or worse.
What you get back
You first see the finished picture on WhatsApp as a view-once message, so you can judge the result before paying. It opens once and cannot be saved or forwarded. The file you keep follows on WhatsApp once payment is received.
The result of an AI edit is not exact and cannot be promised in advance. A generated CV or profile picture may not be a perfect likeness. If it is not usable we say so rather than charge for it.
Changes and mistakes
At these prices no revision round is included. A change is a new edit and costs the same as any other, because it is the same work again.
If we made the mistake, we fix it free. A visible artefact, a misread instruction, the wrong file. That is not a revision, it is a repair.
Tell us clearly what you want before we start. The details box on the site exists for that, and for Slimmer look, Younger or older and Just better it has to be filled in.
AI
Everything here is generated or altered by AI image models we choose. We may change the model at any time; you are buying the result, not a particular tool.
We do not tell you which model produced your picture, and we do not guarantee that a later order will look identical to an earlier one.
Where you publish a picture we edited, any disclosure your platform, employer or market requires is yours to make. We will confirm in writing that a picture was AI edited if you need that.
Your pictures and how long we keep them
The pictures you upload sit on our server and are deleted 30 days after the order. If you want them gone sooner, say so and they go.
What we sent you stays in your WhatsApp until you delete it. Copies you download are yours to manage.
The pictures pass through a third-party AI service to be edited. We choose services that do not publish or sell customer material, but we do not control their systems.
We keep a record of the order itself, what was ordered and what was charged, because our books require it.
We never publish anyone's pictures without asking first. If you agree to let us show your before and after, that agreement is separate and in writing.
What we will not do
We do not make anybody look younger than adult age, and we do not do body or age work on pictures of children.
We do not produce sexual content, and we do not put anyone into a picture, a place or a situation they were not in, where that would mislead.
We turn down work that looks like it is meant to deceive somebody. If we decline after payment, you get the money back.
Liability
Our total liability for any order is capped at what you paid for it.
We are not liable for indirect losses: a job you did not get, a deal that fell through, time lost.
We take care with your files but we are not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything you send us.
Law
These terms are an agreement with IMARA Film, Malindi, Kenya, and are governed by Kenyan law.
